Bulls, Brackets, Business and Believing…

The start and end to each of my week takes place just prior to the turn of a Sunday into a Monday. In a few hours, I will dedicate my entire self toward the advancement of two companies as nationwide players in their respective markets. Because of one, I am prepared to lead another. Over fifteen years ago, Alta Genetics provided me the opportunity to not just earn a living, but to raise a family, pursue a passion in coaching and enrich myself with the business skills to partner and go from start-up to serious player in the form of Scott-Systems. The first lesson and most important lesson in business came from my good friend Einko Topper from the Netherlands. In order to find success in business, you have to have a quality product. Einko’s passion for perfection in the AI industry, puts him at the top of his trade. At Scott-Systems, our products are not only of the highest quality, they receive award winning attention from the biggest organizations in the business. Our Scaff-All bracket took home “Innovative Safety Product of the Year” by the National Home Builders Association, our Post-Rack bracket awarded “Best Product” of the National Frame Builders Association in Nashville this past March. The anticipatory launch of our latest product Float-Frame, will revolutionize the capabilities of building design; our future home bracket will take garage storage, workbench, shelving and canoe, kayak and paddleboard storage to an entirely new level! At Alta, our CEO Cees Hartmans has demonstrated the spine to not only challenge the industry with innovation, but to embrace and guide each member of the Alta team. Scott-Systems has that same leadership in President William Bowser. Decorated military veteran of over twenty years in the Army, former executive with Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Bill has the drive, tenacity and vision to take our company to a position of dominating player in the market. Third of four required prerequisites for business success is personal development and pride. This past year, one of the most influential leaders in individual sales development retired from Alta; however, his training legacy will never be forgotten. If Bill Thompson suggested it, I followed it, most likely without him even knowing. Every book, every quote was gospel to what I believe for a person and company to go “from good to great”! The final piece to business success is the team. At Alta, I learned that if you take a collective group, provide that group with a similar vision, provide them with the best products in the world and encourage that group with positive guidance, that you cannot fail as a company. Scott-Systems is creating a legacy that will stand far beyond the years of those currently involved because the creators of this corporation have taken experience, combined it with a relentless ambition and superior engineered quality, to create innovative solutions to the common struggle. Because of Alta, I have been equipped with tools to pursue greatness and the American Dream.
